Ever since she was born, her parents knew their daughter was something special. She loved being in front of the camera, even as a little baby. It was like she was born to be in front of it. Her parents immediately put her in pagents and beauty competitions. At a young age, Gracelyn was already a star. But as she got older, she just wanted to be a normal kid. She wanted to get dirty and get cuts and bruises like a normal child but that wasn't the case. Her mother especially made sure her daughter was always clean and ready. But as she got older, she started making her own choices.
In high school, Grace thought she had had enough and told her mother she would make her own choices in what she wanted to do with her life. With graduation quickly approaching, she wanted to go to college and get a degree like any normal person. However, it seemed like that fate was just not in her cards. A modeling agency saw her portfolio and immediately contacted her, offering her a large sum of money. Being fresh out of high school, it sounded like a great idea. Her future was all planned out and ready.
However, the last few months have been hell for the young woman. Her manager, Dale, was trying to be more. He was pushing her to do things she wanted nothing to do with, especially with him. Sure, he was a good looking guy but Grace always loved the idea of 'one true love' and 'love at first sight'. With him, he was just helping her get through life on top of all the other girls. However, it seemed he expected more from her, as payment so to speak. The more gigs she got the more pressure he put on her. Until one night he pushed too hard.
Gracelyn had drank too much at a party and was just having a good time with all the other models. Dale thought this was his moment. Pretending to be the responsible manager that everyone thought he was, he drove her back to her apartment. What happened next is all fuzzy to Grace but the next morning it was very obvious what happened. Dale had taken advantage of her in all possible ways.
Bruises covered her body and she woke up with blood on the sheets. Yes, Gracelyn was a virgin until that night. Dale took that from her. She tried to continue modeling and acting as nothing had happened but she just couldn't do it. Seeing that man every day made her feel sick to her stomach. However, that was not the only reason.
Feeling something wrong, Grace went to the doctor, where all her fears were now a reality. She was pregnant. Grace had no idea what to do. This was not something that she had ever seen happening to her. She was always a good girl, never doing anything wrong. But now, now what would her mother and father think of their perfect daughter? Would they help her through this? She had no idea what to do but she ran. She ran from the modeling scene and headed back to what she knew, home.
