wow, are you my ...i completely lost track of time! well please sit sit, let me just move this stuff out of the way. okay, let's get started. tell me a little bit about yourself.
Randall gave a small smirk. he could only assume that this person was nervous because of his surname, they must know his father around here and well... he wasn't exactly a warm and welcoming person. "Hello. My name is Randall Stone Montgomery. My friends call me Stone.. my parents and sisters insist on calling me by my given name." he said in a professional tone. "I am twenty-seven. My birthday is January 20th. I dropped out of college at nineteen, I was going to school for business... but it wasn't for me. much to my parents horror.. but they let me do what i wanted and build the Montgomery empire.." he said the last bit with a tone of sarcasm.
that's a lot of information. so tell me, where are you from?
Randall nodded his head slightly in agreement. "I'm from here... born and raised." his broad shoulders shrugged
ahh fascinating ! well i'm from here, born and raised, never left. so many people that i know and love here, just couldn't leave them ! what about you? anyone you care dearly for here?
Rand had to think of the question. Of course there were people he loved, but did he wanted to mention them? Could anything get out? "My family, of course. My mother is my number one believer. My father isn't exactly a man of many words, but he is a good man... I have two little sisters, they are both in their twenties.. but they are still my baby sisters... then there is my son, i shouldn't mentioned him last because he is my world... Jasper Mason... he's is ten.. he was.. umm.. not planned clearly... he came along when I was seventeen. his mother isn't around anymore... but.. umm.. friends.. i don't have many, people tend to stay away from me.. i don't know exactly why but.... maybe because i'm not that sociable.." he said with a small laugh.
quite a list. must mean you have a juicy past, let's hear a little bit about it.
he couldn't help but smirk a little bit. "Maybe a little bit.." his shoulders shrugged. "I should probably start from the beginning." he paused for a moment not too worried about it. "I was born in August.. my mother, a doctor.. my father was a lawyer, now he's a judge.." it was all boring he knew, but he wanted to get the basics first. "I was an only child until I was five, that's when Adair, Addie, came along.. needless to say as a five year old at the beginning I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of sharing my mother and father. but, then she came i will admit that i was wrapped around her little fingers from the beginning... it was just a year later that Charlotte came along... and well.. it was same with little Charlie." he paused again. "really my life wasn't that interesting until later.. I went through school.. in high school life got a little interesting." he said with a small smirk, like he had a secret. "I started football when i was fifteen... and I buffed up.. then I started lacrosse and soccer..." his shoulders shrugged. "I met Juliette Hughes when I was sixteen and we both went way too fast and were way too stupid.. she was pregnant by the time we were seventeen and life suddenly wasn't carefree anymore.. my mother cried for a week and my father couldn't even look at me when we told them.. her parents were worse. they kicked her out and she moved in with us.. my parents only became really accepting once they realized it was actually happening... with the first ultrasound.." he stopped and took a deep breath before he let it out slowly. "We were too young, but we had my parents supporting us.. I got a job after school and I dropped all my sports.. when Jasper was born it was the greatest thing.." he stopped with a small grin, remembering the day all too well. "We brought Jasper home and that's when everything started to turn to hell... like I said, we were just too young for that responsibility.. Juliette and I we just started fighting constantly... we lived over the garage, so we wouldn't disturb my parents and sisters with the Jasper... it was like a constant thing with us, she was very emotional and I didn't understand what I was doing and why she was acting that that... we didn't make it very long.. but we were stubborn and it was a little after Jasper's first birthday that she packed her bags and Jasper with her. After that I got him every weekend.. it was horrible.. I went off to college but like I mentioned, I dropped out at nineteen.. I had a stupid idea that I could do something with my life.. and well.. with my parent's help I started my first business, it snowballed after that, I became successful. By the time I was twenty-one I had built a small corporation.." he stopped, looking at his hands. "at that point in my life, I was trying to get more rights to my son and just out of the blue, Juliette decided to sign over her rights and moved away.. it was hard to explain to a four year old, why mom left.. I only found out later that she left with some guy.. and well.. that pissed me off that she would leave her son because some guy she wanted..and i made it impossible for her to ever get him back, she had no rights to him.." he let out a hefty sigh. "by the time I was twenty-four, my corporation had taken hold of the business world and we were merging and buying out other small businesses..." he stopped again, thinking. "it's been three years, Jasper is ten now.. and.. I am apparently a desirable and eligible bachelor here... my sisters are always informing me about articles or pictures of me.." he looked at his hands for a moment. "or me with Jasper... you'd think in this town people wouldn't be so fascinated with someone who makes a lot of money." he said with a shrug, clearly ending the conversation.
you just get more and more interesting. is that a word that someone would describe you as? no? then what is something that people would say you are.
randall got a small smirk again. "I think... a good word for me is ambitious." his broad shoulders shrugged. "I honestly don't pay much attention to what people say about me... because most of them, if not all of them, they don't matter to me. The only ones at the moment that do matter are my parents, my sisters, and my little man." he said with a small smile. "I guess if I had to think about what others thoughts of me I would hope they would think I'm a hard worker and a great father.. a great brother and son.." Randall was a good guy. he could be sarcastic and a lot of people assumed he was a playboy. a lot of people didn't know about jasper, because he kept him out of the limelight. he was only ten, and randall didn't want to expose his son to the harshness of the world. people always thought that randall was a bad boy; he didn't know why or if he had that look, but he was a good guy once you got past all those dirty layers. he was a charming man and he hadn't had a serious relationship since Juliette, that didn't mean much, he never introduced women to his family and he knew that they all secretly thought he was gay.. that Juliette was just him trying to figure it all out and Jasper was the only plus out of it... the last part he believed, however he was very much into women, he just found relationships difficult. he was a goodhearted man and he donated a lot of time and money to charities. people didn't realize he did charity work.. because he thought it was ridiculous to be recognized for good things that he did. it wasn't anyone's business... okay.. his family knew and maybe a friend or two.
do you agree with what people say about you?
He didn't know how to answer that question. his eyebrows knitted together slightly. "I would agree somewhat... although I would only agree with people that knew me..." he finally answered simply.
well i still think you have a certain something, not really sure what that is but i bet your girlfriend knows or are you still on the market?
This question always got him. "No.. no love life for me... I mean.. I have women..." he stopped not knowing how to explain. "I don't really date... there are women that I know who are always willing for a night of fine dining..." the way he answered gave way that he didn't wine and dine the women he saw. usually it was a drink at his place when Jasper was off with grandma and grandpa, but there was nothing romantic or special about it. he didn't see the point anymore. "I've already talked enough about Juliette.... the others are not important." he said with a shrug. "So yes. I am still on the market, but it will take someone special to take me off the market."
shit, time flies. my next appointment will be here in a few minutes. it was a pleasure to meet you!
he nodded and stood. thank you for your time...it was a pleasure.. he said as he departed from the room.
