Cassius's life started out rather crazy. His father got his mother pregnant when they were very young. He wasn't a planned baby and that was clear. However, Cassius would never be able to meet his mother because she died a few days after giving birth to him. To this day he wishes his mother didn't die, things would be so much less complicated. There were too many women involved in his life growing up. Sure, he knew his father wanted to give him a mother but then, Cassius would have much prefered it to just him and his father. Then again, Cassius now knew that a man like his father or really any man really needed a woman in his life. Now that Cassius thought about it, it might not really have been all for him but also for his father as well.
Cassius doesn't really remember the first woman whom his father married after his mother. She wasn't really in his life during a time that he really even could remember but he knew she was kind. He doesn't really know what split Marie and his father up but he doesn't really remember much about her. However, after they seperated, his father and him left and they moved into a small little apartment in New York. This was where Cassius would start his school career and where his father too would get his career.
At the beginning of their stay in New York, Cassius saw a few of the women whom his father would see but it seemed as though he was trying to keep them many women away from his son, which to this day, Cassius was okay with. He would see faces but never know names. Soon, his father got a job at a law firm and they could finally move into a house. Cassius loved being in a house so much more than an apartment. He didn't have to hear his neighboars at all hours of the night. What was best about moving into a house is his father allowed for them to get a dog. Cassius was so happy to get a dog. During this time, Cassius was so happy. He spent so much time with his dad, who needed a mother anyway.
However, when Cassius was in his Junior year, his father met a woman named Portia. He didn't think it would or could ever be serious but oh how he was wrong. Cassius never really liked Portia, then again, he never really liked many of the women his father saw. However, it didn't seem like this one was going to be going anywhere anytime soon. He never stuck around when Portia was around and would always find an excuse to be anywhere else. So when he finally graduated, he got out of the house as quick as he could and went straight to college.
Cassius is civil when he is with his father and Portia, however he makes it very clear that he is not her number one fan. It probably upsets his father the most with his attitude. Cas usually is a kind and well mannered guy but can get kind of out of hand and rude at times when he is around Portia. She just has a way of rubbing him the wrong way and he is good at making it very clear. Now that his father is senetor, he tries to be good in front of the camera but sometimes it just can't be helped. Lately, Cassius has become quite an outspoken guy about everything really and is not happy with his father as lately it seems he is more focused on his wife and job then his own son. Cas misses when it was just him and his father. And that plays a big part in why he doesn't liek Poria.
When Cassius is alone, he practices guitar. He started a few years ago just as a hobby but lately it's all he does. He even started attempting to write and sing songs and some of his friends say he isn't bad. Of course he doesn't believe them as this was just something he decided he was going to do one day. Playing guitar is a way for him to escape. Sure, he is smart and all and has a good job but sometimes you just need that one that to get away from it all. Cas doesn't tell many people he can play or sing or write for that matter, only his close friends really know this about him. Most just see him as some nerdy guy.
