* - - step out the door
and it feels like rain
Her day to to day activities were beginning to get more and more difficult - really they had been difficult from the moment she had been told that she had cancer, but with the chemotherapy it was getting worst, yet better because it meant that her treatment was nearing it's end. But no matter how difficult things were getting she refused to take time off of work or to take a break from her usual day to day activities because for her it felt like letting the sickness win and she did not want to do that - she was a strong woman and no sickness, no matter how life threatening - was going to keep her down. And then there was the divorce that was still being dealt with, another thing that could potentially keep her down but also another thing that she refused to keep her down, at least in public. She was really a mess when she was within her own apartments, when there was no-one around. One person could only take so much and well cancer treatment and a divorce was a lot of one person to take. Yet she kept it together rather well in public - she had a reputation to upkeep dammit.
She still worked five days a week - except for the days that she had her chemotherapy appointments - and she loved it. She loved the kids and the things they said and did, they really lifted her spirits more often than not. She also loved the fact that she had a student teacher, at the present the girl was a huge help considering all those things that Bobby had going on in her life at the moment. Though of course Bobby wasn't going to admit to why the girl was a huge help, just that she was. She did have a habit of getting rather overwhelmed over things recently.
Waking up at six was no easy feat for most people and she hated it - if she could do her job and wake up at midday then she would, but alas that was not possible. Her mornings were basically the same - she'd roll herself out of bed and march her butt into the bathroom where she'd have a shower, then she'd go to the kitchen wrapped in her towel and make something for breakfast (usually some toast and fruit but occasionally oats and muesli) before returning to the bedroom and changing into her clothes for the day. Today she had opted for a pair of blue skinny jeans, white long sleeved top and dark grey coat because of the cold. After that she'd brush her teeth and put on her wig of the day - today she went with a plain dark one with a full front fringe. it only took her roughly an hour to get ready so she was out the door by seven and on her way to the school. When she arrived she parked in her designated parking spot and went to her classroom when she settled herself at her desk and started to go through the day's lesson plans, which she planned on editing a little.
