Athena's past isn't something that she really can give you much information on. Atty was brought into this world on January 7th in 1997. She spent her young years living like any normal kid would, but everything slowly started changing the older she got. It was safe to say that she matured a lot early than she should've with the events that took place in her life. She took on a very mature persona early in her life that caused her to really miss out on her childhood, if she were to even have much of a childhood. She was capable of handling certain situations that many at her age wouldn't even think of having to deal with. It wasn't something she really noticed until her more recent years. When she was about seven, her mother suddenly disappeared. She didn't understand and nobody really tried explaining it to her... she asked a lot of questions, but they went unanswered, so she tried coping with it as best as she could at the age she was. It was rough for such a young girl to suddenly lose her mother without any rhyme or reason. It was painful, but she pushed herself through it as best as she possible could.
Years later, Athena noticed the distance and tension between her brother, Zeus, and her father. She didn't understand that either, nor did anyone explain that to her. It was just another thing that went without rhyme or reason, but at this point she didn't really try to take an understanding to much anymore - she just kind of floated and went with the flow. Because of how her father didn't seem to care much about her or Zeus, she kind of looked more towards her brother to take care and raise her. She was young and needed somebody to look out for her, and he was her only hope at this point. She relied on him and depended on him with just about every fiber of her being. Athena trusted his judgment and did what he said when he said it. Zeus was her guardian and the only person who seemed to know what was going on and seemed to be the only one cared about her, so she wasn't going to let him down. Lord knows she tried her best to live up to whatever expectations he had of her.
Her brother practically raised her to be who she is today, and for that, she's forever thankful of him. She's thankful for everything he had done and sacrificed for her and there wasn't anything in the world that would repay her gratitude. He is the most important person to Athena and will always be the #1 priority in her life.
Personality
When you first meet Athena, its pretty tough to get her to really open up to you and this is due to not really having much social experiences outside of her small makeshift family. It takes her more than a couple of meetings and conversations to really break her shell and get her to open up to people, but when she does, she's completely different. She reserves herself for quite some time until she feels like she's ready to express who she really is to you. The duration on how long she reserves herself really depends on who your are and how quickly she can become comfortable with you, though. When she really expresses who she is, you'll see that Athena is incredibly intelligent - some would say "genius", but she would prefer intelligent or just plain ole smart. She was always the top student in her classes and always worked hard to get good grades. She is also incredibly careful of who she trusts bearing in mind the amount of people that have walked out of her life, but when she does trust someone, she doesn't hold back. She puts her full faith and trust into others that she really, truly cares about and expects you to be do the same with her. It is hard for her to trust people, however, so if she truly trusts you, you better consider yourself damn lucky. She is a faithful and loyal type of friend to the people who really put effort into their friendship and will continue to loyal until the end. She is the kind of person who would always be there for you if you were ever in need of a friend, and would hope you would do that same.
Very much like her brother, she is pretty damn stubborn and once she has her mind set on something, she will legit not give up. She's a strong young lady and will push herself to any degree to get what she wants and what she feels like she deserves. Determined. If something doesn't get done, she's determined to finish it; no matter how long it will take her. But you better believe that she will put forth her 110% to get it done and get it done right. There isn't any half-assing it. Despite having a tragic background, she tries to keep a positive attitude about things. She sees the silver-lining of almost anything. "every cloud has a silver lining" is her motto. She doesn't dwell on the past much, considering she doesn't really remember much of it, but better yet, focuses on the future and working towards greater things for
herself as well as her brother.
