meet mister carter haywood, born and raised in the english countryside. his parents always did their best in raising him and his twin sister - who he is eighteen minutes older than and never lets het forget - they did their best to give their children everything they needed, though weren't always able to, but that's okay. over the years he and his father have clashed and argued and fought over most choices that he has made - but none more so than his choice to not go to college and join the royal airforce. a week after he turned eighteen he applied for the raf and when his father found out he was kicked out of the house - though he was back within the week because his mother would have none of her children out on the streets and she thought that her son was brave to be applying for such a thing. in the following year he moved out and didn't speak to his father for almost two years. when he was twenty four his mother died from pancreatic cancer, it was a tragedy for everyone. with her passing his and his father's relationship was somewhat mended - until his father started questioning his actions again, notably those that involved his career with the royal airforce. then last year his father remarried, to a twenty three year old. he wasn't happy about it and told his father that and it basically ended their relationship. he hasn't spoke to the man since and he's more than okay with that. he's taken some leave from work and has come to new york to visit his sister. he's one of those people who doesn't take a lot of things seriously, but as soon as it comes to this job or the safety of others he can and will take it all very seriously. he can be incredibly sarcastic to the point of irritation and he can be super sweet and kind. he is a bit of a joker - like was said he doesn't take a lot of things seriously - and this can get annoying from time to time. he will laugh at his own lame jokes and he won't hold back his opinion of you if it is of the negative kind. i can see him making many friends being the nice guy that he is - though of course they'd have to be able to put up with those annoying qualities. he can be a really good friend because he will do so much for those he cares about. he'd make a few enemies what with his way with telling people how he feels about them and his need to look out for people. lovers are a bit weird with him. he has had many over the years but he can be awkward and shy about them and talking about sex makes him awkward. he is open for drunken one night stands (because he doesn't do them sober) and anyone to try to start something with him.
