it's a revolution i suppose
His parents were throwing another party. His mother had told him what it was for - it was a fundraiser for one thing or another, he had stopped caring, his parents weren't high on the list of things he liked (though his mother was so they were half on there). Anyway, it was mostly his father anyway and that half was most definitely not even almost on the list of things that he liked, in fact that one was at the top of the list of things that he all but hated. These parties that his parent threw weren't all that exciting for him. People he didn't know wandering the house he lived in, it wasn't exactly the kind of things that someone like he enjoyed, despite his love for people and socialising with them - these people were different, they were older and had lots of money and he didn't care for their questions about college and the future, not that he was all that worried about the future, he had a good idea on what he was going to do.
There was only one good thing about this particular party - that new kid Hayden was going to be there. Could he really be called the new kid any more? It had been a while since he had arrived in Christian's life, flinching and saying strange things, yet sometimes he still felt like their friendship wasn't quite something, yet. Even so, he got excited about the fact that he was going to see the other boy, and in the comfort of his own home! He had somewhat planned something for them - they were not going to stay with the boring rich adults, instead they were going to flee to his bedroom and have a little party of their own, whether Hayden wanted to or not. Christian had found that he had to be tough on Hayden at times, that he sometimes had to force him to do things - or well maybe not force but be a little firm in order to get the boy to do things that though Christian didn't feel uncomfortable doing Hayden seemed to.
A few hours beforehand Christian had snuck into the kitchen - though really he hadn't needed to sneak much since his father was out and his mother was organising that party things - and had opened his father's alcohol cupboard and taken two bottles of vodka. Now, the man was sure to notice two bottles missing but that was something that future Christian would have to deal with, at the time he was feeling the intense rebellion of stealing booze from his parents, and from the parent that he didn't like all that much. He had taken the bottles and his them in his bedroom, where they waited for the two teenage boys to make use of them. Now he just had to wait for the other one to arrive. "Are the Sherwoods here yet?" He asked his mother while he was slumped against the wall not enjoying the start of the party. She informed him that she thought that they had just arrived and were mingling in the other room. With a smile plastered on his face he was in the other room within seconds, looking for the one who was to be his partner in crime for the night.
